While the "Boeing 787" was moving towards the runway, the right tip of the wing hit the rear of the "Airbus A321", which was also waiting for takeoff. "Boeing" literally ripped the tail of "Airbus", reported Jutarnji List, citing the German Bild.
Both planes are reportedly owned by Vietnam Airlines. After the collision, both planes remained grounded for a technical inspection.
For 380 passengers, none of whom were injured, and other planes were provided for them to continue their journey.
"Vietnam Airlines" has suspended four pilots, and preliminary information points to the possibility that the "Airbus" was not properly parked, which could have led to the crash.
The incident was classified as a serious security breach, reports Bild.
