In the armed conflict that took place in Amsterdam, two people were seriously injured, while the Dutch police arrested five people and launched a search for the sixth suspect.
According to the statements of witnesses and police officials, the conflict took place yesterday afternoon in the center of Amsterdam, in which there was an exchange of fire between the two groups, writes NL Times.
Two men were injured in the attack, and they are currently in a critical condition, and the ambulance immediately transported them to the hospital.
The police arrested five suspects, while the sixth person is still on the run.
During the investigation, authorities said extensive negotiations and analysis were underway to find the remaining suspects, but did not provide details on the motives for the conflict.
Although the situation is under control, special units are still looking for the suspect who fled the scene.
Police appealed to the public to report any information that could help them find the suspect who is on the run.
Security forces have increased their presence in that part of the city.
The investigation is ongoing.
