Brother of Nikola Jokić arrested! VIDEO

Strahinja Jokic was charged with assault and a third-degree misdemeanor, and appeared in Denver District Court on Tuesday, according to court records, as reported by the "Denver Post".

Denver police first learned of the fight through a viral TikTok video showing "known family members of Denver Nuggets player Nikola Jokic arguing with an unidentified fan in the stands," according to an arrest affidavit.

The video shows a "verbal conflict" between the fans and Strahinja and Nemanja Jokić before one of the brothers hit the fan in the face, the police write.
 

A Denver detective interviewed the fan three days after the April 22 game and noticed he had cuts and bruises around and under his left eye.

The man told the police that one of the Jokić brothers, a "big guy", punched him in the face and that the attack was unprovoked.

The police later identified Strahinja Jokic through his neck tattoo.

The man was later diagnosed with a concussion, according to the statement.

At first, he did not want to sue Strahinja Jokić because he was afraid of retaliation and worried about the safety of his family, but at the beginning of May he changed his mind.

When the police contacted him, Strahinja Jokić told them that he believed he had done nothing wrong because he was defending an elderly man whom he had known for a long time.
