When the competitive year ends, when the floor and stands are emptied, and the lights of the largest Serbian hall are turned off, what remains in history - the memory of the battles that were fought, the moments when it seemed that strength was running out, but also those quiet, decisive victories in one's own head, in the dressing room, on the field.
That's why this title is a reflection of a path on which there were no shortcuts, on which there were many obstacles, but which in the end brought the most valuable reward - and no, we don't mean the title. This victory brought confirmation of character.
Trials and redemptions
From the beginning of the season, it was clear that Partizan would not have an easy task. This year, a bad day was not forgiven. Every away pitch was a trap, and every rival was ready to seize the opportunity.
Partizan went through the regular part of the ABA season with ups and downs, but there were also downfalls. There were victories that restored faith, but also defeats against direct rivals that hurt and raised doubts.
However, what separated that same Partizan from the others was the ability to find a way to stay on their feet in the most difficult moments.
They were not victories that are remembered for "the beauty of the game", but they were victories that are remembered for their importance. Victories that boosted self-confidence and returned the focus to what was most important - to fulfill the goal, to raise the trophy that Humska had been waiting for a long time.

"War of nerves"
Entering the playoffs was a new stage, where there is no room for error. Partizan showed maturity, experience and readiness to handle the burden of the favorites.
Each series was a story in itself, but the final played against Budućnost carried a special weight. Two teams that know each other well, two teams that know how to win big games (we saw it from Podgorica this season) and a duel that has more weight than a classic clash, like that, yes, each one that brings a trophy.
The series was everything that basketball in this region is: physically exhausting, tactically complex and tense "to the breaking point". There were no easy victories, no "easy" evenings.
Every ball, every jump, every foul... Budućnost showed incredible strength, but Partizan showed what ultimately decides - firmness in key moments.
In the last, decisive game, it was seen what it means for a team that believes in what it is doing. There was no euphoria, no panic. It was played smartly, patiently, with a clear plan in attack and uncompromising in defense. Every point, every rebound, every cut of the ball was a step closer to the goal.
And when the siren signaled the end, it wasn't an explosion of unbridled joy just for the title. It was a "howl" of relief and a confirmation that everything we went through this season was worth it.

This is not just a trophy
This title is not the title of one man. This is not a season in which only one point, one shot or one name will be remembered. This is the title of a team that built strength precisely from the fact that no one was above the collective.
There were players who scored points in key moments when it was most needed, but also those whose contribution was measured in defensive tasks, in taking over in defense, in sacrifice for the team.
Every change in defense, every adjustment in attack, every time-out at the right moment was part of the puzzle that eventually came together in a winning picture.
Partizan did not just win the trophy. Partizan showed how it fights when it's most difficult, how it is needed to stay consistent with the values and how success is built day by day, from training to training, from fight to fight, and that in a time when victory often seems like an "instant" thing, when the pressure is huge, when criticism comes from all sides - from fans, the public, the media...
And the truth is, maybe time will cover the details - some games, some misses, some referee's whistle will be forgotten.
However, it will remain recorded that this was the season in which, despite everything, Partizan reached the top.
And that all challenges, all doubts and all difficulties, in the end, "were covered by rosemary, snow and sedge".
