New step in the case of Danka Ilić: Order issued

Just to recall, there is less than a month left until the indictment against the suspects D.D. (50) and S.J. (50) should be brought. Although it was initially said that all the expert reports in the investigation of the girl's murder had been completed and submitted to the prosecutor's office, and that the final phase, that is, the writing and raising of the indictment, was on the way, still new evidentiary procedures are being carried out.

"The prosecutor's office ordered the expert examination of recordings from security cameras and certain videos. Namely, it is a question of very demanding expert examinations, and for that reason it is taking a little longer, however, it is clear that the entire public is only waiting for the indictment to be filed and what will be written in the same. For this reason, the prosecutor's office is doing a very demanding job to prevent any oversights," the Kurir source said unofficially.

He added: "Whether this latest expert opinion is a trump card of the prosecution will be known when the analyzed footage from the cameras and video material is delivered to the prosecution."

In the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar, which is working on the case of the murder of a two-year-old girl, they say that the investigation has not yet been completed.

"The investigation against suspect D.D. and suspect S.J, due to the criminal offense of aggravated murder, has not been completed. All evidentiary procedures have not been completed in terms of expert testimony and are ongoing. The Prosecution is analyzing all evidence as well as expert testimony, evaluating each piece of evidence individually and their mutual connection", said the competent prosecutor's office. As a reminder, S.J. (50) from the Bor village of Luka and D.D. (50) from the village of Zlot are accused of hitting a girl Danka, who was walking on the road, with an official car of the JKP "Vodovod" in Banjsko Polje on March 26.
