NATO "launches" the army in our region; Serbia reacted strongly
Within the military alliance of Albania, Croatia and Pristina, multinational or NATO exercises will be held in various areas, including cyber exercises, search and rescue, and the plan for holding them is expected to be finalized in September, writes Koha.
As stated by the Ministry of Defense of Croatia in its response to that portal, the military alliance between Albania, Croatia and Pristina aims to "increase the interoperability of the parties in multinational or NATO exercises in various fields".
It is added that the forms of participation will be determined after joint discussions with experts.
On March 18, Albania, Croatia and Pristina signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of defense and security in Tirana.
The memorandum leaves the possibility for other countries to join, and the media reported that the invitation has already been sent to Bulgaria.
The highest representatives of Serbia pointed out after signing the memorandum in Tirana that its signing represents a violation of the subregional agreement on arms control from 1996, as well as Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.
According to Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council, KFOR is the only armed force in Kosovo and Metohija.
