The occasion for the reception is the World Cross Country Championship, which will be held in Belgrade on Saturday from 11:00 a.m.

"I am happy to host you before this great competition tomorrow. We will have many more investments in athletics and I think it will return through a good and healthy spirit. Thank you for always being ready to come to our country and show respect for our country. Many thanks once again," said Vučić.

In addition to Coe and Karamarinov, the first man of the Serbian Athletics Federation, Veselin Jevrosimović, and director Slobodan Branković attended the meeting.

Moreover, Coe thanked President Vučić for recognizing the importance of athletics and helping its development.
