Attack on the police station in Zvečan: Two hand grenades were thrown, an explosion rang out
The so-called Kosovo Police announced that unknown persons threw two hand grenades into the yard of the Police Station in Zvečan last night around 11:55 p.m.
In the statement of the Kosovo Police, it is stated that material damage was caused due to the explosion, but that there were no injuries.
"Regarding this case, all the competent units that carried out the investigation went to the scene, and the Unit for Serious Criminal Offenses, which is working intensively to identify the perpetrators of this attack, was also informed," the statement said.
The prosecutor ordered that the case be initiated as "causing general danger".
"The Kosovo police strongly condemns these dangerous attacks and appeals to citizens to cooperate with the authorities to help identify the perpetrators of this attack. Any information that can help the investigation can be reported to police phone lines or through reliable reporting lines," the statement concluded.
