The roundtable at the Palace of Serbia has concluded. The event was co-chaired by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, with both leaders addressing the participants.

Roundtable Begins

The roundtable titled “Serbia and Angola: From Successful Projects to New Partnerships – 50 Years of Friendship and Cooperation” has begun.

 

Vučić on Angola: Our economic relations must match our political ties; Direct route to Luanda in the future

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that economic cooperation with Angola must be improved.

“What both of us pointed out is that we are not satisfied with our economic cooperation and that there is much we can do. I believe there will be significantly more Serbian investment in Angola,” Vučić said, adding that the agreements signed between the two countries today are very important.

“I believe those agreements can make a highly significant contribution to our cooperation,” he said.
