Parliamentary session will be held tomorrow on opposition's proposal for a vote of no confidence in government
The Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabić, has scheduled an extraordinary parliamentary session for tomorrow, with the agenda including a proposal for a vote of no confidence in the government, submitted by 62 MPs from opposition parties.
The proposal was submitted by MPs from the People’s Movement of Serbia, the Party of Freedom and Justice, SRCE, “We – The Strength of the People” led by Prof. Dr. Branimir Nestorović, the Ecological Uprising, and independent MP Miloljub Albijanić.
The reason for requesting a vote of no confidence, as stated in the explanation, is the existence of what they claim is a well-founded suspicion of the involvement of certain government members in the “General Staff” case, as well as the prime minister’s failure to take any action in that regard.
The session will begin at 11:00 a.m.
