Vučić on Dijana Hrka: She received treatment and left the hospital; We were all concerned for her health

Vučić speaks to Informer TV following reports that Dijana Hrka is recovering in a private hospital after her hunger strike.

“I believe it is important what happened tonight and that it is of exceptional significance for her health. Hrka is now leaving the hospital and will likely return to the same location. It is very important that she received treatment, and all of us who were concerned for her health can now be at ease. People around her have shown responsibility. As President of the Republic, I am grateful to them for their responsibility and seriousness—their job was to help preserve the life of a woman. They brought her to the hospital.

My appeals will continue every day to Mrs. Hrka to end her strike. Her health and her body have been given the chance to continue living and recover, and I would say this is joyful news for all our citizens,” Vučić said, adding that he feels better and relieved as a citizen of Serbia. '

'I know she was in good hands, received a thorough examination, and excellent therapy, which for me was the most important. This is good news, the responsible behavior of Mrs. Hrka. For this, I am very satisfied,” the president said.

“An important meeting awaits me in Paris”

He added that tomorrow he is traveling to Paris, where he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.

“Tomorrow I am in Paris; we have very important topics to discuss. Half the world is preparing for military conflict, we have to address issues of oil and gas—these are serious matters—while we are dealing with attempts, both internal and external, to undermine our state”, Vučić emphasized, adding that he needs to prepare thoroughly for his one-on-one meeting with Macron.

Regarding the news in which the British Guardian published a map excluding Vojvodina and Kosovo and Metohija, the president said he has not seen it yet.

On changes in the police

Regarding police changes, Vučić stated that proven patriots and responsible individuals are now in office, and he believes they will carry out their duties very well in the future.

He said he hopes that in the next few days there will be decisions regarding NIS and that full stability in the country and security of energy supply will be established.

“It is crucial that we maintain peace in Serbia and for Serbia,” he said.

The president also emphasized that his statement yesterday about Europe preparing for war with Russia has been heard from Afghanistan to Britain.

“I am no less convinced of my words today. I hope the Americans will establish some ceasefire between the Russians and Ukrainians, but I do not believe that the threat of a conflict between Europe and Russia has ended,” Vučić concluded.
