The Prime Minister designate, presenting the program of the future government, said that the most important duty of power holders, but also of all citizens, is to serve the motherland and to jointly and unitedly reach the goal of the common good and progress of our nation.

"That duty affects all people, especially those who hold the most prominent state positions, but also every citizen of our country, whether he is a farmer, student, professor, official, soldier, judge or any other profession. If we all have that feeling, and if the interest of our country's survival is above all other interests, then we will happily fulfill all our obligations and hand over a better Serbia to future generations," said Macut.

He emphasized that the basic issue that brings together everyone in the parliament and that must always bring them together is duty to the motherland.

Djuro Macut presents an exposé, starting with quoting the words of Miloš Obrenović

Mandate for the composition of the new government of Serbia, Djuro Macut, began with his exposition, with a quote from Miloš Obrenović.

"Serbian people, my dear brothers. Now, brothers, it seems to me that I fulfilled my duty accurately and conscientiously with the sacrifice of my life and my health. I fulfilled the call of a man, as a son of the fatherland, as an admirer of the nation and as your ruler...", Macut began his address.

Macut said that the most important duty of the authorities, but also of all citizens, is to serve the motherland and to jointly and unitedly reach the goal of the common good and the progress of our people.

He pointed out that everything that that home should do and everything that the people in that home should do is the duty to serve the motherland.

"That duty affects all people, especially those who hold the most prominent state positions, but also every citizen of ours, be it a farmer, student, professor, official, soldier, judge or any other profession. If we all have that feeling, and if the interest of our country's survival is above all other interests, then we will happily fulfill all our obligations and hand over a better Serbia to future generations," said Macut.

He emphasized that immediate action must be taken in the field of education.

"We must act immediately in the field of education and change a lot of things. Generations have suffered so that today we have a state that is holy, Serbia is holy because of the sacrifices that fell for it. Protests are a natural manifestation of youth, but not in the form of lockouts like denying the right of others to get an education. My obligation is to discuss all dissatisfactions, but in accordance with the law and the Constitution. For me, as a professor, all students are the same and all are our children. They are my first priority."

He added that it is unacceptable that schools do not work and that legal provisions are not respected during the strike.

"Elementary and secondary schools must urgently return to regular classes. I call on all rectors, deans, professors to urgently find solutions. This situation is a direct threat to the state of our University," he pointed out.
