Vučić arrived in Paris; Macron gives him a festive welcome

After that, Vučić is expected to have a working lunch at the Elysée Palace, which President Macron will host in his honor.

On the eve of the meeting, Vučić said that he is grateful that he would have the opportunity to meet with Macron.

Before the meeting with Macron, President of Serbia announced on his Instagram profile "future of Serbia", where he wrote: "I believe in a good and meaningful conversation with a friend of Serbia and my personal friend."

He previously said he was grateful to have the opportunity to meet Macron. He also said that he expects a successful conversation with the French president.

"Of course I am nervous. I can meet with President Macron countless times, but I always worry about how and in what way I will represent the interests of Serbia. I expect good results. I expect a good, open and meaningful conversation," said Vučić in a video posted from Paris on his Instagram profile fuducnostsrbijeav ahead of the meeting with the French president.

This visit was arranged at the end of March, when Vučić and Macron had a telephone conversation. On that occasion, they discussed all aspects of cooperation between the two countries and Serbia's European path.

The French president paid an official visit to our country in August 2024, when he visited Novi Sad in addition to Belgrade.
