Indictment for the massacre near Mladenovac confirmed

The court of second instance confirmed the decision on the indictment, it was published on the court's website. The High Court in Smederevo can soon be expected to schedule the start of the trial.

The High Court in Smederevo declared itself not competent in relation to the accused Goran G. and Boris G. from Vinjište, that is, the uncle and brother of the accused for the massacre, considering that the High Court in Kragujevac has jurisdiction over them.

The higher public prosecutor's office in Smederevo filed the indictment on October 18 last year. With the indictment, in addition to Uroš B., the prosecution accused his father Radiša B., uncle Goran G. and uncle's brother Boris G.

Uroš B. was charged with aggravated murder in connection with the criminal acts of illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive substances, kidnapping and unauthorized use of someone else's vehicle.

His father, Radiša B., was charged with the criminal offense of illegal production, possession, carrying and placing on the market of weapons and explosive substances in conjunction with the criminal offense of serious crime against general security.

The investigation established that in the house where he lived, Radiša B. had an unauthorized possession of a large quantity of firearms, ammunition and explosives, namely one pistol, one revolver, 241 bullets of different calibers, black powder in a total amount of 854.38 grams, as well as various weapon parts.

Goran and Boris G. from Kragujevac, were accused due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense of illegal production, possession, carrying and placing on the market of weapons and explosive substances, because they kept a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives in the house and the utility room without authorization.

Uroš B. was charged with killing 9 people, two of whom were minors, on May 4 in the villages of Malo Orašje near Smederevo and Dubona, near Mladenovac, and attempted to kill another 20 people, shooting from an automatic rifle and a pistol, of which he wounded 12 of them.
