Zvicer under pressure from European agencies: Austria offers €20,000 reward for information on Kavač leader
The Austrian Criminal Intelligence Service is offering a €20,000 reward for information that could help locate and arrest Radoje Zvicer, the leader of the “Kavač clan,” according to Europol.
The reward will be distributed without the need for court proceedings, the European law enforcement agency Europol stated.
“If there is more than one informant, the reward will be divided according to the relevance of the information provided. Excluded from the reward are persons who are obliged to cooperate within the framework of their private-law or public-law duties, as well as persons accused of complicity in connection with the charges against Radoje Zvicer,” Europol specified.
The agency warned that the fugitive from Kotor is dangerous and “may be armed.”
In addition to Austria, which is seeking Zvicer in connection with the smuggling of 83 kilograms of cocaine, he is also wanted by Montenegro, where several proceedings are being conducted against him for multiple criminal offenses, including murder and drug trafficking.
Europol also stated that Zvicer uses forged documents under the names Josip Babić, Dragan Gojković, David Grepo, and Ferenc Karoli, among others.
“He has several scars from gunshot wounds on the upper part of his body, predominantly on the left side,” the agency stated, according to the Podgorica-based portal Adria.
