Trains disrupted: Negotiations failed - strike continues
Negotiations between railway workers in Montenegro and the management regarding salary increases have failed, and the workers' strike continues, while the Railway Infrastructure has started the procedure for finding new workers, said its CEO Marina Boskovic.
Bošković claims that the workers refused a salary increase of 300 euros, while the employees deny this and announce the continuation of the strike, RTCG reported.
The management of the Railway Infrastructure called on the prosecutor's office and the police to react.
Several hours of negotiations between train dispatchers and traffic dispatchers with the management of the Railway Infrastructure, representative trade unions and the Ministry of Transport of Montenegro ended without an agreement.
A group of 85 employees of the Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro - train dispatchers, TK dispatchers and traffic dispatchers - went on strike on Friday due to, as they stated, very low salaries.
They requested a meeting with management to discuss improving working conditions.
