Hoon did not want to comment whether the stance of the Contact Group could change after their meeting with UN Special Kosovo Envoy Martti Ahtisaari, which is scheduled for November 10. 

Rucker said that the UN administration in Kosovo, along with the institutions in Priština, has already started preparing for the “transitional period” during the time of the status decision.

Hoon will be in Priština today and will meet with Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, Prime Minister Agim Ceku, leader of the Kosovo Serbian List Oliver Ivanović, as well as Kosovo opposition party leaders Hashim Thaci and Veton Suroij.

Hoon will travel to Macedonia after his Kosovo visit.
