Some of those B92's reporter spoke with this morning came from other parts of Serbia, and were there even before 4 a.m.

Most want to talk with the prime minister about their personal problems - unresolved court cases, unpaid salaries and pensions...

Retired Faculty of Dental Medicine janitor Miodrag Aprcovic thus wants to tell Vucic about "corrupt courts and judges" that he learned about during a lengthy legal dispute over the property where he and his wife live.

Tatjana Popovic from Indjija and her mother hope to solve their problem - namely, her aunt and the local self-government working together to "alienate their property near the Outlet Center in Indjija."

Popovic said Vucic was "the only man she believed in," and noted she is "an active member" of his SNS party.

Former Slavija Bank employee Ljiljana Stefanovic from Belgrade, who said she was not a member of "any kind" of party, wants to tell Vucic about her case - a bank owing her 34 unpaid salaries. She was told that regardless of a ruling of the Strasbourg Court and Serbia's subsequent decree that "workers must be paid their wages," the bank, as a shareholder society, had no obligation toward her.

A man who was unwilling to give his name was also waiting in front of the building this morning. He said he served in the army with Vucic, and was now there to tell him he is "no good as the prime minister, and that there is corruption in Serbia." He was carrying a folder with him that he said contained "evidence to prove it."

The security was letting through those citizens who had appointments, but some also showed up after learning about the possibility to speak with Vucic from the media, which created some confusion.

"Here too, strings are pulled to let people in," commented the gentleman with the folder.

Earlier in the week, Vucic said that more than 5,000 appointments had been made and that instead of from 05:30 until 08:30 CET, as announced, he would be receiving citizens today from 05:30 until 18:00 hours.
