Rescued dog "feeling well"

A young dog found in a Belgrade neighborhood two days ago with all four of her legs cut off is feeling well this morning, her vet says. The dog, named Mila by her rescuers, is now off the IV drip and is eating and drinking on her own, Miomir Randjelovic said. Today we will have the blood test results, so we hope that everything is moving in the right direction," said the doctor. Mila will need to recover, and be fitted with prosthetic limbs. She will also need a new and safe home, and a large number of people have reacted to the story which has shocked the public by offering to help. B92, the city of Belgrade and other organizations are taking part in the effort to help Mila. Meantime, charges have been brought against as yet unknown perpetrators who viciously attacked and maimed the dog.
