Man confesses to killing Kosovo policeman

The chief suspect in the murder of a KPS officer has confessed to the crime, according to a Pristina daily. Koha Ditore cited its sources from the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) according to which a suspect, identified as Arben Berisha, admitted to having murdered officer Triumf Riza. Man confesses to killing Kosovo policeman The daily alleges that the KPS obtained footage of the murder from a witness that reportedly recorded it, and it was clearly visible it was Berisha who appeared in it. Police also reportedly found the murder weapon. According to the same sources, Berisha said he was not contracted to commit the murder. KPS is currently searching for Enver Sekiraqa who, according to the daily, has been named an accomplice, as there had been a long-running feud between him and the dead policeman. Police believe revenge to be the motive for the murder. Media in Pristina reported on Sunday that Berisha turned himself in to KFOR. However, KFOR neither confirmed nor denied such reports.
