Friday – On the highway between Pec and Decani, near the village of Rausic, a car in which Enver Haradinaj, brother of former Kosovo prime minister Ramush Haradinaj, was shot at from another vehicle and Enver was killed.
Enver Haradinaj was 25 years old and a former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army which his brother had commanded.
The highway on which the shooting occurred is now blocked off and an investigation is underway. The police have yet to release any details regarding the incident.
The murder of Enver Haradinaj has evoked heated reached in many parts of Kosovo.
