The European Union's new commissioner in charge of enlargement will be Czech Republic's Stefan Fule. This was announced today in Brussels by European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso. Czech appointed new EU enlargement chief Fule will replace Finn Olli Rehn in that position. His duties will also be expanded to include EU's relations with its neighbors, reports said. Fule previously served as the Czech Republic's ambassador to Lithuania, UK, and NATO.
