Russia prevents Miss Kosovo from taking part in pageant

PRISTINA A woman who won the "Miss Kosovo" competition will not be able to take part in the Miss Universe pageant that will be held in Moscow, Russia. Albanian language daily Koha Ditore is reporting that this is because Russia does not recognize Kosovo as independent, and therefore will prevent its representative from participating.
