I definitely support Serbia in its quest to retain control of at least the North of Kosovo, and it's ability to save Serbian property and heritage in Kosovo. However, I think Obilic is dead wrong. There are many beautiful Albanian women. Also, such hate language only perpetuates hate. From the picture of the Albanian woman who was to represent Albania (that's the only one I saw), she looked pretty nice to me:-)

I am very sorry for this decision. Sex has nothing to do with politics, as for beautiful girls - we want to see all of them.

Oh my God, her not participating is the end of the world. Kosovo can't live without her participating. Therefore I'm sure that tomorrow Kosovo will immediately renounce its independence from Serbia and happily go under Serbia again in order to be able to participate in Miss Universe if and when is held again in Russia.

Some people might say that with Kosovo under Serbia, Serbia will not allow Kosovo to participate in Miss Universe, anyway. But those people are misinformed - we all know that Serbs are very generous when it comes to Kosovo. Indeed, when Kosovo was under Serbia, it was a paradise.

- Equador is just OK
- Albania is super, would appreciate less cosmetics on the first shot. The second shot is hot.

- Philippines are one of the top, makes my RU vs AL choice difficult. Probably winner. The last shot of PH wasn't good tough.

Do you honestly believe that Kosovo would not be votes simply because of politics? If you do then you are naive. Everything is political. Kosovo has to be promoted by the west for it is their creation.

There will never be peace in the world for as long as powers like the US and their support for Islamic fundamentalists have a say in world affairs.

What does that have to do with anything? That happened outside of Russias jurisdiction. Point is that there are still powerful countries that actually respect international law, and Putin has shown that.

Good news for once!!!

This is a shame and Russia should not be proud of this unkind act towards a newly formed state. This is the perfect time for Serbia to show some good will gesture and call on Russia to allow the young lady to compete. Vietnam does not recognize Kosovo either but it let Miss Kosovo compete last time around. We'll see what happens. When there is will there is way.

Oh by the way some of the posters here....are just plain brutal both sides included. Gentlemen show some compassion otherwise just go ahead and bang your heads against the wall perhaps that will bring some thrill into your lives.

That fact the Russia denied "Kosovo's" participation is an indication that there are a lot of powerful countries that do not accept self-proclaimed independence of Kosovo. Its a humiliation above all.

Russia is not supporting serbias position but rather international law. Serbia under dacic and nikolic is one of the biggest supporters of Kosovo independence in the world with customs border guards and ambassdor dejan pavicevic.

And if Kosovo accepts being SPOK things can be solved very soon. Including membership of EU and UN. And yes: UEFA. Mind that the British region of Gibraltar has own UEFA seat now. Same is possible for Kosovo province. Just accept you are a province/region. Nothing more, nothing less!

- Miss Perú is very good bur Russia beats Perú
- Equador is just OK
- Albania is super, would appreciate less cosmetics on the first shot. The second shot is hot.
- Costa Rica is being beaten by RU, AL, Perú.
- Philippines are one of the top, makes my RU vs AL choice difficult. Probably winner. The last shot of PH wasn't good tough.
- Nicaragua is just OK
- Bolivia just appeared and so far did beat all.
- USA is maybe a bit worse than Bolivia, that makes Bolivia - PH - US/RU/AL for me so far
- Panama is just OK
- Mexico just OK
