One person drowned in a 30 cm deep creek in Zajecar, eastern Serbia, but this area was not flooded, MUP has stated. According to the ministry, an investigation is ongoing into the tragic event. Drowning in east "unrelated to floods" The statement adds that, meanwhile, water levels of the Beli and Crni Timok rivers in Zajecar are decreasing and that no one was evacuated from the Zajecar region on Sunday. There are about 80 officers of the MUP Emergency Situations Sector deployed in the area. The current water level of the Beli Timok River is 190 cm, while the Crni Timok River is at 386 cm.
