Belgrade's Summertime Jazz Festival opened on Tuesday evening with a performance from Teresa Salgueiro and Brazilian band Septeto Joao Crista.

Belgrade's Summertime Jazz Festival opened on Tuesday evening with a performance from Teresa Salgueiro and Brazilian band Septeto Joao Crista. The festival will until July 7 gather some of the most best known names in jazz music. Portuguese singer, Brazilian band open jazz fest Salgueiro, a Portuguese singer who held a successful concert in Belgrade in February when accompanied by her countrymen Lusitania, sang the Brazilian bossa nova this time. Salgueiro told reporters she was happy to perform in Belgrade once again, especially, as she put it, because of the opportunity to present "the strength and extraordinary beauty of bossa nova".

Salgueiro, a Portuguese singer who held a successful concert in Belgrade in February when accompanied by her countrymen Lusitania, sang the Brazilian bossa nova this time.

Salgueiro told reporters she was happy to perform in Belgrade once again, especially, as she put it, because of the opportunity to present "the strength and extraordinary beauty of bossa nova".
