Đoković, Ivanović storm into semis

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Ana Ivanovic have reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open in Melbourne. Djokovic hammered Spaniard David Ferrer 3:0 (6:0, 6:3, 7:5), while Ivanovic recorded her first career victory against Venus Williams, also in straight sets, 7:6, 6:4. With three semi-finalists, Serbia has matched its previous best performance at a Grand Slam, when the same three players reached last year's semi-finals at the French Open. Even more remarkable is the fact that all three players are yet to drop a set. Furthermore, no other country has more than one representative left in the draw.
