Vojvodina's multi-ethnicity will be evident in its preschools as they start curriculum in six languages next year. The provincial government in Novi Sad announced yesterday that children will be taught in Serbian, Hungarian, Slovakian, Romanian, Rusyn, and Croatian languages. Vojvodina preschools teach in six languages 32 preschools in the province will also organize classes for children with special needs, a statement from Vojvodina's administration said. The six languages are also official in Vojvodina, and used in elementary and higher education institutions. The northern Serbian province has over 20 registered ethnic minorities.
