Albanian tourist forced "to speak Montenegrin" at gunpoint

The victim, a 46-year-old man from Shkoder with initials G.S. was having coffee early on Tuesday morning when he was approached by Gojko B., who was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

Angry that the Albanian "did not speak Montenegrin," Gojko B. proceeded to abuse him, first demanding that he repeats after him "words in Montenegrin" and then producing a pistol and pointing it, under the table, at the victim's legs.

The newspapers writes that "at first, nobody in the cafe noticed anything was wrong" - until a waitress saw the frightened tourist was repeating the words spoken by the Montenegrin.

She asked Gojko B. what was happening, to which he reacted by "getting up, starting to apologize - and then to kiss both the Albanian and the waitress." The tourist used this opportunity to flee from the establishment.

The victim later told the police that he returned to the cafe half an hour later to pay his bill, and then decided to report the incident.

Gojko B. has been arrested and charged for mistreatment and illegal possession of weapons, and is currently held in 72-hour custody on the order of a prosecutor.
