Qatar's ambassador received by Serbia's acting PM

Dacic thanked him for the information presented, and conveyed that Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are monitoring the developments in the wider Gulf region with great attention - "from the viewpoint of friendly bilateral relations with Qatar and other Gulf countries, and bearing in mind the number of our citizens who live and work in Qatar."

Dacic "encouraged resolving the current crisis through dialogue, in order to calm the situation in the Gulf."

In this context, Serbia called on all parties to show restraint and wisdom and through negotiations, within the Gulf Cooperation Council, reach a peaceful solution to the crisis, said Dacic.
