The two presidents discussed "continuation of excellent bilateral relations and reviewed in detail the current situation in the region."

In addition to the excellent political cooperation, economic cooperation is also very good, Nikolic said and underscored that Slovenia is an exceptionally important foreign exchange partner and that the two countries' trade has exceeded a billion euros annually.

According to Nikolic, the two countries should make a joint presentation on third markets and realise joint projects in various sectors.

Pahor "underscored that his country will continue providing support to Serbia on its EU path."

"It is positive that Serbia is committed to implementing reforms," Pahor said and added that Slovenia is ready to provide assistance and point to all the mistakes the country made in the European integration process.
