She also spoke about Serbia's relations with Croatia to say Zagreb "should now host officials from Serbia," describing the overall relations between the two countries as having "warmed slightly." She described "political stability" as being important "also for investments that are expected."

Pak-Stankovic said there are several candidates to manage Zelezara Smederevo and that she was "certain the best will be chosen."

Asked about "the return of businessman Karic," Pak-Stankovic said that he "had his ups and downs, and should, like anyone else who has been the target of attacks, say what he has to say and let judicial authorities declare themselves" If there are elements for it, he should be prosecuted, and if not, he should be "set free," she observed.

Commenting on the "shadow cabinet" recently set up by the opposition Democrats (DS), Pak-Stankovic said that "the Democrat cartel" strives to, at any cost, maintain the position that allowed them to "rob the citizens of Serbia for more than a decade." According to Tomislav Nikolic's adviser, the opposition party "has neither a platform nor an idea around which to gather," wants to "advertise itself," while citizens have "seen through them, realizing they have no political credibility."

Pak-Stankovic noted that during Nikolic's 1000 days in office so far his course of action was going in two directions: one that is ideological - to position the office of the president on a completely new basis within the constitutional framework - while the other was "operational."

"President Nikolic met five times with Russian President Vladimir Putin, four times with U.S: President Barack Obama," said Pak-Stankovic and added that he also met "with the new leadership of China."

In addition, said his adviser, Nikolic held meetings with more than 500 business delegations from around the world, to whom he presented Serbia's "comparative advantages."
