"The party has to find inner strength and conduct the necessary organizational and staff changes," Jovanović said after the meeting of the LDP Presidency.

The LDP will not merge with another party or take part in creating a conglomerate of parties and fake alliances, but it will instead work on polishing out the party's existing political agenda, he noted.

The LDP will stay true to the goals set on November 5, 2005, when the party was founded, but it will have to do more in the future to reach out to the people and inform them about its program, he said.
