NOVI SAD Serb Progressive Party (SNS) and the Socialist Party (SPS) candidates won most votes in the second round of provincial by-elections for the Vojvodina assembly. The elections were held in the towns of Zrenjanin, Apatin and Srbobran on Sunday. SNS, SPS candidates win in by-elections in Vojvodina According to data from the election headquarters of the Democratic Party (DS), SNS candidate Zivko Nastic won a total of 4,426 votes in Srbobran, while DS candidate Valerija Tanasijin won 3,490 votes. The SNS candidate received 4,426 votes (54.23%), while the DS candidate got 3,486 votes (42.71%). According to DS' sources, SNS candidate in Zrenjanin Darko Badjok won 5,827 votes, and DS candidate Miodrag Damjanov 3,865. The second round of provincial by-election in Apatin saw candidates from the SPS and the DS, Dragan Rastovic and Bruno Urbanovski respectively. According to the data from the DS election headquarters, the SPS candidate was supported by 6,569 voters and the DS candidate by 4,441. The data from the election headquarters of the SPS show the same name number of votes for their candidate, while the data on the DS' candidate differ by three votes - according to the SPS, Urbanovski won a total of 4,438 votes. Commenting on the results, SNS Vice President Igor Mirovic said late on Sunday that they should be "signal enough" for the DS to call early provincial elections. According to data from the election headquarters of the Democratic Party (DS), SNS candidate Živko Nastić won a total of 4,426 votes in Srbobran, while DS candidate Valerija Tanasijin won 3,490 votes.

The data of the SNS election headquarters show that 8,162 voters (57.65%) went to the polls in Srborban. The SNS candidate received 4,426 votes (54.23%), while the DS candidate got 3,486 votes (42.71%).

According to DS' sources, SNS candidate in Zrenjanin Darko Bađok won 5,827 votes, and DS candidate Miodrag Damjanov 3,865.

The second round of provincial by-election in Apatin saw candidates from the SPS and the DS, Dragan Rastović and Bruno Urbanovski respectively.

According to the data from the DS election headquarters, the SPS candidate was supported by 6,569 voters and the DS candidate by 4,441.

The data from the election headquarters of the SPS show the same name number of votes for their candidate, while the data on the DS' candidate differ by three votes - according to the SPS, Urbanovski won a total of 4,438 votes.
