Serbia’s senior officials are content with the report Hague Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz presented to the UN Security Council on Thursday. President Boris Tadic said that the report on Serbia’s cooperation with the Hague is very positive and that he is satisfied with that fact, according to the president’s press service. Serbia "satisfied with Brammertz report" Tadic also said that Brammertz’s report was very objective. “Serbia will do everything it can to find, arrest and extradite to the Hague the remaining two fugitives,” Tadic said. President of the Hague Cooperation Council, Rasim Ljajic, said that he expects that the report will lead to the unfreezing of Serbia’s European integration process. Ljajic told journalists that Brammertz’s report was “the most positive one yet.” “This is the most positive report which he has filed yet on Serbia’ Hague Tribunal cooperation, because it is the first one that states that the tribunal prosecution is satisfied with the efforts that Serbia is putting into completing cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, and because this is the first report that does not have any objections with Serbia’s work,” he said. War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic said that the report was positive and objective. “Brammertz’s recognized our efforts for realizing the state’s number one priority. It is our international, legal and moral obligation and we will do everything to realize it as soon as possible,” Vukcevic told the Tanjug news agency. Brammertz’s told the UN Security Council on Thursday that Serbia “continues to improve its cooperation” with the tribunal and that he recognizes the efforts the Serbian government is making in the search for the remaining fugitives.
