BIA Director Sasa Vukadinovic has denied media reports that regional secret services met in Belgrade recently. Sarajevo's daily Dnevni Avaz said yesterday that Serbian security agency, BIA, had a meeting with Montenegrin, Bosnian and Croatian counterparts to discuss locating and arresting of Hague fugitive Ratko Mladic. BIA denies regional Mladic meeting Vukadinovic, in a statement sent to the Danas newspaper, today denied this. Allegations which appeared in the press citing a source who said that "groundwork is being prepared for the arrest and extradition of Mladic to The Hague", and that "Belgrade, the BIA and MUP of Serbia, along with the military intelligence structures, know where the general currently is and that it is a matter of days when they will reveal that they were able to arrest him", has not been confirmed by the Serbian Prosecution Office, nor by any of the MUP top brass.
