Dinar climbs against euro, exchange rate at 117.5506

BELGRADE After a one-day stagnation, the Serbian dinar will continue its climb against the euro on Thursday, rising by 0.2 percent or RSD 0.18. The official middle exchange rate is RSD 117.5506 for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release. The dinar hit its record low of 119.0723 on August 9, while seeing its strongest this year on January 11, when the middle exchange rate was at RSD 103.6922 per euro. Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 347.5bn on the interbank foreign exchange market to ease excessive daily volatility of the national currency exchange rate.
