A treaty will be signed at the Serbian government headquarters on Friday to prevent double taxation of income and assets between Serbia and Austria. The document will be signed by Serbian Finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic and Austrian Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Josef Proell, it was announced today in Belgrade. Serbia, Austria to avoid double taxation Austria is the 39th country with which Serbia will have this kind of agreement, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement. The treaty will greatly contribute to advancing bilateral economic and financial cooperation between Serbia and Austria, because it prevents double taxation of physical and legal persons who are residents of both countries. The agreement will further stimulate investments in Serbia since Austria is the country's biggest foreign investor, said the statement.
