Dinar stronger against euro on Monday

The Serbian dinar, RSD, will on Monday gain 0.44 percent, or 42 paras, against the euro, EUR.

The Serbian dinar, RSD, will on Monday gain 0.44 percent, or 42 paras, against the euro, EUR. The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced that the median exchange rate on that day would be RSD 94.8182. Dinar stronger against euro on Monday The central bank did not intervene in the inter-bank hard currency market on Thursday, the last working day of this week. The last intervention came on Feb. 25. A total of EUR 556.4mn was spent in this market since the start of the year, some EUR 175.1mn in February alone, in a bid to stabilize the dinar. The Serbian currency hit its annual low on Jan. 28, when one euro was worth RSD 96.3388, while it was the strongest on Jan. 5, with the exchange rate of RSD 89.5436.

Dinar stronger against euro on Monday

The central bank did not intervene in the inter-bank hard currency market on Thursday, the last working day of this week. The last intervention came on Feb. 25.

A total of EUR 556.4mn was spent in this market since the start of the year, some EUR 175.1mn in February alone, in a bid to stabilize the dinar.

The Serbian currency hit its annual low on Jan. 28, when one euro was worth RSD 96.3388, while it was the strongest on Jan. 5, with the exchange rate of RSD 89.5436.
