Serbian Chamber of Commerce, PKS, President Milos Bugarin says "no investor from Slovenia has pulled out of deals". "The unfavorable political situation" in Serbia has not swayed investors from the former Yugoslav republic, he explained in Belgrade Thursday. "Slovenia not giving up Serbia investment" "Some investors are waiting for the stabilization of the political situation, so that they could invest their capital in the Serbian market," Bugarin told reporters. He added he understood "fears of the investors, because of the current political developments in the country", adding that Serbia's economic cooperation with other countries should not slow down. "It could be disastrous for the Serbian economy if the world were to receive a negative image about the political developments here," Bugarin stated. He said that Slovenia's recognition of the Kosovo Albanians' unilateral declaration of independence is an "irrational decision of the Slovenian government", which "could have negative effects on the dynamics the two countries have in economic cooperation and which causes justified fears in Serbian and Slovenian businessmen".
