In addition to Vučić, the Summit will gather Moldovan President Maia Sandu and three prime ministers: Albania&rsquo;s Edi Rama, Montenegro&rsquo;s Milojko Spajić, and North Macedonia&rsquo;s Hristijan Mickoski, as well as EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta K&oacute;s.A video address from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected.The event is an initiative by Euronews to amplify the voices of candidate countries at a moment when European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has relaunched the enlargement process, rebranding it as &ldquo;reuniting Europe.&rdquo;The Summit will provide a unique platform for candidate country leaders to present their perspectives on the enlargement process, sharing how it is perceived in their countries and what the path ahead will bring. The timing of the Euronews Summit coincides with the presentation of the 2025 EU enlargement package by the European Commission&mdash;an annual assessment of candidate countries&rsquo; progress, which will set the tone for the coming year.The event comes at a time when the majority of Europeans support the expansion of the 27-member bloc, with a recent Eurobarometer survey showing that 56 percent of EU citizens back enlargement, with particularly strong support among younger Europeans.
