Very soon after the traffic accident, the Ministry of the Interior issued a statement:&quot;On the state road of the first A category, in the direction of Novi Sad&ndash;Belgrade, at around 3:47 a.m. this morning, a traffic accident occurred in which one person was killed and several others were injured.According to the information gathered so far, for reasons yet to be determined, an &lsquo;Opel Vivaro&rsquo; van with Belgrade license plates, driven by S. S. (born 1982), overturned. The vehicle was carrying eight underage passengers aged between 13 and 16, who are members of the &lsquo;Partizan&rsquo; judo club from Belgrade and were returning from an international sports camp and competition in Azerbaijan.One minor passenger, aged 16, died at the scene, while eight people, including the driver, were transported to the Clinical Center of Vojvodina in Novi Sad with injuries of varying severity.A breathalyzer test determined that the van&rsquo;s driver was not under the influence of alcohol. An investigation is ongoing at the scene, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor.&quot;
