"NATO is preparing for a large-scale armed conflict"

Speaking at the First International Security Forum held under the patronage of the Security Council of Russia, Sergey Naryshkin said that “NATO is de facto preparing for a large-scale armed conflict in the East,” according to RIA Novosti.

He stated that European government officials are comforting themselves with the idea that they will be able to compensate for their losses through further “plundering” of Russia.

“European power brokers are deceiving themselves into thinking they can more than compensate for their losses by continuing to plunder our country. I see this as a typical example of the colonial mentality and arrogance that the degenerating European elite cannot rid itself of,” Naryshkin said.

He added that European elites benefit from prolonging the conflict in Ukraine for as long as possible and are undermining every attempt at a peaceful resolution.

“From the perspective of European elites, it is in their interest to prolong the Ukrainian conflict for as long as possible, while fantasizing about the strategic exhaustion of Russia and its eventual defeat. Based on that, Europeans are trying to torpedo every attempt by Russia to peacefully resolve the conflict,” Naryshkin stressed.

According to him, weapons from the Ukrainian battlefield are “circulating freely across Europe” and ending up in the hands of “international terrorist groups.”

Naryshkin also claimed that the European Union forgives Kyiv everything, including terrorism, corruption, usurpation of power, violence against civilians, and war crimes.

“Brussels and national capitals have decided to turn a blind eye to all the atrocities committed by the Kyiv junta... Kyiv has been forgiven for everything — terrorism, corruption, usurpation of power, violence against civilians, and war crimes,” Naryshkin said.
