Minister on accident in Spain: Track renovated, €700 million invested; No talk of corruption or "bloody hands"
Spanish Minister of Transport Óscar Puente announced that the death toll from the railway accident, which currently stands at 39, is not final.
He also thanked the rescue teams and expressed his condolences to the victims and their families.

The accident occurred around 7:45 PM in the town of Adamuz, in the autonomous region of Andalusia, when a train traveling from Málaga to Madrid derailed and ended up on an adjacent track, where a train from Madrid to Huelva was passing at the time. Due to this contact, the second train also derailed.
