A video of the police killing the student-attacker was released VIDEO
A disturbing video surfaced on social networks, showing how the police surrounded and shot an 18-year-old, allegedly an Albanian from a so-called Kosovo, who previously stabbed a school teacher in the German city of Ephesus.
According to Bild, a student attacked a teacher with a knife in the Nordfürtel district and allegedly stabbed her in the stomach.
The victim is seriously injured and is scheduled to undergo emergency surgery at University Hospital. It is still unclear whether her life is in danger.
According to Bild, the attacker is an eighteen-year-old young man from Kosovo, an Albanian. He is a student at the school where the attack took place.
Shortly after the crime, police received a report of a suspicious person in the park who matched the description of the perpetrator. When police tried to check on the suspect, he allegedly ran directly toward officers with a knife.
The police then shot him.
An alleged video circulating on social networks shows the student-attacker being killed by the police in the park.
The video, the authenticity of which has not yet been confirmed, shows the student-attacker crawling on the ground while a police officer shoots him.
In addition to the seriously injured teacher, other people were also given medical assistance.
At least 10 students are in shock - they witnessed the incident or provided first aid.
