That's it, everything is ready: Ukraine becomes a member?

Marta Kos stated at the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council that "the projections are almost finished and have a clear perspective", according to the statement published on the EU website.

Kos hopes to open the first three clusters of Ukraine's negotiations with the EU on joining the Union in the first half of this year, during the Polish presidency, and the remaining three by December 2025.

Kos confirmed the EU's commitment to make the most of the opportunities offered by the Association Agreement to facilitate Ukraine's gradual integration into the European single market, even before accession.
