And now it's really over? "You have 15 minutes to pick up your belongings..."

The administration also released the results of a review of each USAID program ordered by Trump and the State Department, AP reports.

The decision was reportedly prompted by a court order that gave officials until the end of the day Wednesday to lift the Trump administration's block on foreign aid funding.

Trump administration officials, after repeated warnings from a federal judge in the case, also said Wednesday that they have resumed paying USAID bills after a months-long suspension, freeing up several billion dollars in debt to be delivered.

As reported by the AP agency, former USAID workers, who were fired or placed on administrative leave, were told they had 15 minutes to pick up their belongings from the office in Washington.

The agency states that it is not known how many of the more than 5,600 USAID employees work in the agency's headquarters building in Washington.

On Monday, USAID placed 4,080 employees worldwide on leave, and an additional 1,600 workers were laid off.
