On Monday, June 1, a regular FC Partizan Assembly was held as planned, which will be transformed into an electoral session.

On one side is Predrag Mijatović, and on the other are Rasim Ljajić, Danko Lazović, Milka Forcan, and Vojin Lazarević.

Partizan president Rasim Ljajić addressed journalists after the vote concluded, announcing that the group of decision-makers would remain unchanged.

In other words, everyone remains at Partizan. According to him, the voting was conducted secretly.

“We had a constructive and debate-filled discussion, with different positions and views, and assessments of the past year. The common denominator is that significant progress has been made in stabilization, but we are dissatisfied with the league standings. The process of stabilization continues so that Partizan can compete for titles and play in Europe every year. We put the confidence in the members of the Executive Board to a vote, to see whether the current composition still has support. In order for someone to be dismissed, 21 votes against are required, which in formal terms means that the current Executive Board remains in the same composition. The mandate in its current form has been confirmed,” Ljajić said.

Voting results:

  • Rasim Ljajić: 30 votes in favor, 2 abstentions, 3 votes against
  • Danko Lazović: 25 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 5 votes against
  • Predrag Mijatović: 11 votes in favor, 4 abstentions, 20 votes against
  • Milka Forcan: 23 votes in favor, 4 abstentions, 6 votes against
  • Vojislav Lazarević: 20 votes in favor, 3 abstentions, 8 votes against

“The proposal was that everyone should leave, but then the assembly took place and a vote of confidence was held… I absolutely do not run away from that. Even before this, before the internal conflicts in the club escalated, I believed it would be best to bring in a completely new leadership. But such things don’t happen overnight. It’s easy to say, but much harder to implement. Ideally, new people would come in—unburdened by internal club relations, because those relationships need to be normalized. New people wouldn’t have those problems, and I share that view, theoretically. But where do we find such people?” Ljajić said.
