Get ready, the tropical wave will last: Here's for how long

According to the forecast of the State Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ), a strong heat wave continues in the second decade of July with a maximum temperature of 35 to 40 °C and tropical nights in urban areas.

After July 17 in the north of Serbia, and from July 20 in all regions, a smaller drop in temperature by about 5 °C.

Despite the minor freshening, the period with tropical days (in larger urban areas and tropical nights) with a precipitation deficit is likely to be extended.

Sunny and very warm weather is expected in Belgrade on Friday. A weak and moderate south-easterly wind will blow. The lowest temperature will be from 21 to 26 °C, and the highest around 38 °C.

According to the RHMZ forecast, mostly sunny weather is expected for the next seven days with the highest daily temperature in most places of 35 to 40 °C and with tropical nights in urban areas.

Along with the local development of cloudiness, a rare (isolated) occurrence of showers and thunderstorms is possible on Sunday (14.07), and then from Wednesday (17.07), when a smaller temperature drop of around 5 °C is expected in the northern regions.
