Higher Court in Novi Sad has released the names of 18 individuals granted pardons in the court proceedings

"The Higher Court in Novi Sad received letters from the Ministry of Justice dated November 2, along with the President of Serbia's pardon decisions dated September 27. These decisions concern pardon proceedings initiated ex officio by the Minister of Justice on September 25, granting immunity from criminal prosecution to individuals involved in cases before this court," the court said in a statement.

According to the statement, the following individuals have been pardoned from criminal prosecution: Gorski Matović for the criminal offence of violent behaviour at a sporting event or public gathering; Igor Elez for the criminal offence of accepting a bribe; Stevica Kiš and Aleksandar Kocić for violent behaviour at a sporting event or public gathering; Ognjen Stanković for violent behaviour at a sporting event or public gathering and causing grievous bodily harm; and Nemanja Narači for violent behaviour at a sporting event or public gathering, causing grievous bodily harm and causing general danger.

In addition, Anja Pitulić, Jovan Dražić, Dejan Bagarić, Doroteja Antić, Branislav Đorđević, Mila Pajić, Davor Stefanović, Srđan Đurić, Mladen Cvijetić, Lado Jovović, Marija Vasić and Lazar Dinić have been pardoned from criminal prosecution for the criminal offence of preparing acts against the constitutional order and security of Serbia as co-perpetrators, in connection with the criminal offence of attacking the constitutional order and the criminal offence of calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order.

Before stepping down on September 27, then-President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić announced that he had decided to grant pardons to 49 individuals.
